"My partner and I booked Ed to play at the evening reception for our civil partnership. Ed's stylish website initially attracted us, and I can now attest that every other aspect of his operation is equally professional. The facility for guests to make requests online in advance of the evening is really cool. Ed was also keen for me as the host to give some overall direction on the style of music, so I was delighted that he played some harder-edged U2 and New Order tracks, through dance classics by the Pet Shop Boys and Aha and on to “Ghostbusters”, via Marillion, Dire Straits, Duran Duran and Depeche Mode! Several of my guests commented that it was by far the best 80s disco they had ever attended. Ed's equipment was all top-notch, and the laser show and smoke machine really added to the atmosphere. Ed was also extremely efficient and unintrusive in setting up and clearing away at the end of the night. Most importantly of all, he is a very courteous, warm and genuine guy, and was an accomplished master of ceremonies for the evening, helping bring a fantastic end to a very special day for us!"

"I would like to thank Ed and Richard for making last Saturday night a huge success with everyone who attended the party to celebrate my 40th birthday with an 80's music and fancy dress theme. Ed and Rich were both very polite, personable and professional. Although having to set up on uneven ground with limited space in a garden marquee, the lighting, smoke effects and tone of the music could not have been better - our needs were certainly well considered and well accommodated! We even had distant neighbours gate-crashing later in the evening as it sounded so good. Vicki and I could not imagine any other disco creating a better atmosphere for our 80's dedicated celebrations. We have received many compliments from the guests for a great evening which couldn't have been possible without a great disco. We are more than happy to recommend Ed, Rich and Electric Dreams to anyone wishing to put on a fantastic night of 80's music. Many thanks once again!"

"My eighties themed 40th birthday party in January was planned to the smallest of details, think wedding planning and you will get some idea of my desire for perfection! From the moment that I contacted Ed I found him extremely helpful and efficient, even after receiving an A4 sheet of questions from me regarding what if???! I received a formal contract and timely information on payment and party arrangements. Ed and Rich arrived as promised a few hours before the party to set up for the evening. The music was perfect and the evening went off just as I had wanted. All my guests had a great time and we were all sorry when it was time to finish. We all could have danced on into the night. I would recommend Electric Dreams to anyone thinking of having an eighties party without hesitation, in fact I am going to book Ed again for a fund raising evening later in the year (which I am scheduled to do shortly)."

"From the outset, dealing with Ed was an absolute pleasure. Here is a guy seriously passionate about his craft (and his era!), very professional (you get a proper contract) and extremely careful when it came to setting up at our house. In the run up to our party, the ability to request your favourite (and frequently embarrassing) songs through the Electric Dreams website was a bonus, which many of our friends enjoyed. On the night Ed provided the perfect sound track to our party, which really came alive once we were able to tempt people down to the basement. Once down, there was no getting them back. Last but by no means least, thanks again for batting on for the extra hour – completely unexpected but very welcome all the same. The only nagging problem we’ve been left with is finding a good enough excuse for another 80s party so we can get Ed back in all his glory!"
